Feeling Thank-FULL at Brightwork

With Thanksgiving in our midst, as a team, we’ve been intent on taking stock of what we’re grateful for – here and now. It’s so easy to get caught up into dos, planning ahead and what’s next – so every year, we LOVE how this day encourages us to stop, slow down, reset and focus on gratitude.

Here are a few of the things our team is feeling thankful for in this season:

“Right now, I’m thankful for the strong, loving and supportive relationships I have with my family, and for my three precious cats that are basically my children. This year, I’ve been thankful for the new career opportunity I’ve been given and what the transition has taught me about myself. In general, I am thankful for the freedom I have thanks to the wonderful people who serve our country, and for the love and grace that God continues to pour into my life.” – Tyler Mills, Human Resource Generalist

“I’m extremely grateful for the people in my life. The love and support that I receive on the daily is truly amazing. Also, I am grateful for the simple things in life: food in my belly, the roof over my head and the ability to physically do whatever my heart desires. So many things that can easily be taken for granted.” – Katie Mills, Staff Accountant

“The older I get, the more thankful I become. Life is hard and there are so many unfortunate things that happen, but there is also so much good in this world and I’m blessed beyond what I deserve. Reflecting back on this year, I’m thankful for a few milestones:

  • Brightwork moved into it’s first office space. It’s so great having a “home!”
  • Welcoming our third child, Cora, who is healthy and happy. She is a perfect addition to our family.

Brightwork has been a lot of fun – I am blessed with talented staff and wonderful clients, but I couldn’t do any of it with my biggest supporter, my husband, Tim. He is my rock and I’m a better person because he’s in my life. Without his support Brightwork wouldn’t be thriving like it is!” – Amanda Wilson, Brightwork founder

From the team at Brightwork – we’re wishing you and yours a happy and healthy, joy and delicious food-filled Thanksgiving!
